One Week Left to Submit to Screenwriters Lab!

The countdown is on! The clock is ticking!

Submissions for our inaugural Screenwriters Lab close on 31 August 2026 11.59pm, and you have just one week left to enter.

Screenwriters Lab — an initiative of IMDA's Talent Accelerator Programme presented by the Screenwriters Association (Singapore) — is more than a competition. It's a development journey that takes writers from the earliest stages of selection through to a final live pitch, with masterclasses from renowned international mentors to guide you along the way.

Winners stand to walk away with cash prizes from SGD 3,000 to SGD 5,000.

Selected participants will need to be available for the following key periods:

• Online Masterclass Period: 16 September – 28 October 2026

• Live Pitch Session: December 2026
