Screenwriters Lab is open to eligible applicants under either the Emerging Track or Experienced Track. Applications must be submitted by individuals who will be participating in the programme; these individuals may be self-employed or current employees of companies/organisations authorised to work on the proposed IP. Applicants should refer to the eligibility criteria stated in the Competition Rules before submitting.

No, the competition is free, but each applicant is capped at only two proposals total, one as an individual and one as part of a team. For example, Jason can submit an individual proposal by himself. He can then also submit one more as part of a writing duo, e.g. Concept by Jason Lim and Eliza Tan. If more than one entry per category is submitted, only the earliest entry will be accepted, and all subsequent entries will be forfeited.
